 I am an Orthopaedic Consultant Surgeon working at Little Aston Spire Hospital Sutton Coldfield and Manor Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.
I Completed my Specialist Training On the Birmingham Rotation , I spent some time in Southampton and in Sheffield with recognised advanced fellowships gaining experience in shoulders , elbow surgery and soft tissue injury surgery.  
My primary interest is to achieve excellence in the management of the upper limb  problems, without compromise.
I also provide a sports injury related service with comprehensive experience in all sports related injuries including cruciate ligament reconstruction.I also have of late developed an interest in Hip arthroscopy with key hole surgery for all sports injuries and young adult hip problems

 I have extensive training in advance and extreme hip arthroscopy with affiliation to The Richard Villar School of Hip Arthroscopy.

I enjoy the stimulus of teaching I believe it benefits the tutor as well as the student I consider it an integral and vital part of my own continuing education. I routinely present lectures on topics during orthopaedic teaching programs and teach students from university of Birmingham, I am also invited to the regional orthopaedic training programme to present and Chair meetings. I am on the faculty for the Basic surgical skills for junior doctors and GPs. I also am on the faculty for preparing registrars to take the specialist examination in Trauma and orthopaedics.

 I am also on various Faculty that run courses on Shoulder arthroscopies and Hip Arthroscopy.

I have recently set-up a Website for dissemination of information that has something of interest for the GPs, Patients and physios.

I also undertake more than 200 upper limb arthroscopies per year and also 50 – 100 shoulder and elbow replacement per year.

I have also successfully completed my first 30 Hip Scopes.

I am also the local lead on Hip arthroscopies

I am a member of the International Society Of Hip Arthroscopy (ISHA) BESS and BOA and have various publications related to my interest.
